I'm trying to finish packing for my Thanksgiving trip to Lake Tahoe. I should have started days ago. That way I would have known that two of my three travel shampoo bottles had broken caps. Now I'll have to survive with just one shampoo for four days. As long as I remember to pack my jackets I should be OK.

New pictures for the photo album. The new "Halloween 2002" section has four pictures of Dan and me dressed up for Mike Orsini's party. Doesn't Dan look cute? Also a picture of from when Dan and I went to Disneyland this summer is in the main album.

Would it be possible for me to get a new showerhead for Christmas this year? Mine has annoyed me one time too many. I hope this isn't too much to ask. Thanks.

According to the 11.22.02 issue of Entertainment Weekly, Harry Potter is "rivaled only by the doings in a galaxy far, far away as the world's most lucrative movie franchise." This magazine always has great quotes. (Not to mention it extends my number of consecutive Harry Potter posts to five. I guess I need a life.)

That much-needed diary entry has now been posted. And I finally found the diary entry I was looking for (see Wednesday's post below). Read about it and Chamber of Secret by clicking the "diary" link above.

Yes, Dan and I saw Chamber of Secrets last night. Details to come (in a much-needed diary entry?). Check the mood indicator above for my initial reaction.

I dropped by the Harry Potter premiere tonight, but there wasn't much to see. Even if I had brought my camera I couldn't have taken a picture worth seeing. Guys in black suits kept people from loitering in the intersection near the theater. Dan said they were probably wizards in disguise. Good disguises - I thought they were security guards.

Do Potter films spoil imagination? I have asked that question many times. (I thought I had written a diary entry on the subject, but I can't seem to find it right now.) My biggest problem with Sorcerer's Stone was reading the books again and only being able to picture Daniel Radcliffe as Harry. My mental version of him wasn't quite so cute. Even if my imagination is going to be spoiled, I already have tickets to see Chamber of Secrets on Friday. And I am looking forward to it.

"God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, man destroys God, man creates dinosaurs. "
"Dinosaurs eat man, woman inherits the earth."
Doing homework and watching Jurassic Park. Not the ideal evening, but, after the stressful week I've had, it'll do.

Studying for my midterm on Wednesday is killing me. I don't know how I will get through all of the material before then. Maybe after it's over I'll have a chance to do stuff I have been putting off to study. Like clean my apartment!

I didn't get to wish everyone a Happy Halloween on Thursday, but Dan and I went to Mike Orsini's Halloween party last night. My Minnie Mouse costume wasn't that bad and Dan was adorable as Tigger. Now it's the weekend and I have to study for a midterm on Wednesday. Doesn't that sound like fun?
