Dan and I still don't have internet access at our house. I'll have a decent update as soon as we do (probably later in the week). Until then, ponder the fact that while looking for my extention cords I found two boxes in the garage labeled "Dan's Action Figures."

Tomorrow is moving day. Dan moved all of his belongings into our house on Wednesday so he's already living there. I drove two carloads of my things there today, but my furniture won't be moved until tomorrow. Happy Easter! Hopefully I can get everything else packed up so that the movers only have to deal with the actual furniture. Today Dan and I bought a stainless steel refrigerator for our kitchen to match the other appliances. We were very happy to learn that it could be delivered tomorrow. Just another way to celebrate Easter! So tonight is the last night in my apartment. I will miss the Seal Beach community, but I am really looking forward to living with Dan in our house. Be on the lookout for my next update which will be from Redondo Beach!

Today Dan and I got the keys to our new house. He his moving all of his belongings there tomorrow and I made an appointment to have my furniture moved on Sunday. At the moment my apartment is littered with packed and half-packed boxes so it’s a mess. It’s hard to believe that I moved across the country with all of my belongings in my Neon just four years ago. Now I am discovering how much stuff you can fit into a one bedroom apartment. A lot.
Also today I discovered that “The Chronicles on Narnia” is the best DVD ever. Not just because it’s a great movie (which I actually enjoyed more the second time, which is the mark of a good film), but because the previews were just as entertaining. The first thing on the DVD is a preview for the DVD release of “The Little Mermaid” this October. When I saw it my mouth dropped open. I own a copy of the original video release of the movie from 1990, but it’s never been on DVD before. Is it too early to start my Christmas list?

If I was having a beach wedding I'd totally wear a dress like this. Gorgeous.

Dan and I will be getting the keys to our new house on Tuesday! We weren't sure when we'd be able to move in until today so this is very exciting news. To celebrate Dan and I dined on spaghetti (with Italian tomato sauce from my Betty Crocker cookbook) and watched "Lost" tonight. The food was good, the show was good (though fairly uneventful), and the company was wonderful. My day at work was really stressful so coming home, making dinner, and spending time with Dan was the best way to end it. When we live together I can do that much more often.

1) I participated in the Seal Beach 5K on Saturday even though it was raining. I figured I might as well since I had already paid for the registration. Of course I got soaked, but I'm glad I did it since I'll be moving soon.
2) I cooked dinner for Dan, his brother, and his grandmother tonight. The turkey soft taco recipe in my Betty Crocker cookbook is quite good. When Dan and I move in together I'm planning to cook a lot more.
3) Dan and I got caught up with season 2 of "Lost." Now we have to wait a week between episodes like everyone else. Bummer.
